When the Standard Is Five Stars, Every Tile Has to Be Perfect
Some projects push you. This was one of them.
Grand Hotel President in Băile Felix is not just a new hotel. It is the first 5-star property in the area, a landmark built to redefine what luxury hospitality looks like in Bihor. When we were brought in to handle the tiling across the property, we knew the margin for error was zero.
Precision at Every Level.
From the marble feature walls to the bathrooms, every surface in this project was installed with the same care. Because at five-star level, details are everything.
Our work covered bathrooms, pools, interior walls and more — across a building designed to impress at every turn. The materials chosen for this project were extraordinary: large-format black marble slabs, dramatic exotic stone design with natural veining, and precision-cut wall panels installed across sweeping open spaces. Nothing ordinary.
The most challenging and rewarding part of the job was the grand interior feature wall — floor to ceiling black marble design tiles with a circular opening framed in brass. Every tile had to align perfectly. Every joint had to be invisible. The result speaks for itself.
Behind the scenes it was meticulous, demanding work. Millimetre-level precision across large surfaces. Levelling systems on every run. Materials that don't forgive mistakes. But that's exactly the kind of work we're built for.
Details That Define the Space
As part of the Grand Hotel President indoor pool area, we executed the cladding of the three structural pillars using large-format porcelain slab tiles with a Calacatta marble finish. The corners were finished with custom ribbed teal accent profiles, creating a refined architectural detail that ties together the luxury spa aesthetic of the space.
